Our True Nature is Softness

We live in this world with a constant barrage of information,
endless ‘shoulds’ of outsized and unrealistic expectations,
where comparison is encouraged
because it keeps us pushing ourselves further and harder,
so we’ll contribute even more to the grand machine…
But our energy and spirits are being drained beyond recognition.
We weren’t made for this.
I know something in you just lit up with resonance when you read that last line.
So what if we stopped forcing ourselves to keep going?
What if we allowed ourselves to slow down?
To rest.
To breathe.
To Soften.
Let’s all settle gently into the present moment
and relax our grip on the prescribed To-Do list.
✨ We were born to be soft, vulnerable, and deeply feeling human Beings.
The armor and weapons we learned to surround ourselves with
can only ever give a false sense of safety and comfort.
We’re waking up to this realization.
Let’s return to our true nature: Softness.
Soft is vulnerable, loving, and compassionate.
But Softness is also strong, brave, and resilient.
To truly learn to love yourself, you must allow yourself to Soften.
When we Soften, we can connect with what we’re feeling.
We can listen to what our heart is asking.
We can be in flow with what feels aligned for us.
As we Soften, we can trust what feels right,
and have the courage to follow our inner knowing,
instead of second-guessing, explaining away, or skirting around our truth.
Softening invites us to sit with what’s true in each moment
and know that it’s always enough.
We don’t have to be perfect AND we can still grow.
That tension in your jaw and shoulders will ease up when you Soften.
Your nervous system can return you to your center of Self,
and connect to the part of you that knows it’s safe to be still.
When we Soften, our breath and heartbeat slow down and we become calm.
We can hold both pain and joy with more ease,
because all experiences are meant to be held gently
in the Softness of our hearts.
We are made to be Soft.
We are made to connect. To Love. To Be.
Only through softness, can the world be healed.
In the Softness of your true nature,
you expand your capacity for Self-Love,
and open to deeper connections with others.

🌸 Inviting More Softness:
Place your hands gently over your heart.
With each intentional breath, imagine yourself softening into love…
Soft jaw. Soft belly. Soft shoulders. Soft thoughts. Soft heart. Soft energy.
