Nature Never Hurries

I’ve come to believe that the natural world around us
is meant to be our greatest teacher.
If we pay attention,
it shows us, in every moment,
how life is meant to be lived.
Nature doesn’t force anything.
It doesn’t strive to be anywhere
other than exactly where it is in each moment.
It trusts its own pace.
It follows its own rhythm.
The sun rises.
The seasons change.
The flowers bloom.
The tides move in and out.
All in perfect timing.
All without urgency.
Somewhere along the way,
we humans began to believe that constantly being busy
means we’re living life to the fullest.
That ‘fitting it all in’ is how we live a good life…
But busyness is not the same as Aliveness.
From what I’ve experienced (and I imagine it’s the same for you),
the more we rush around and stress about getting it all done,
the farther we drift from the natural rhythm
that allows us to feel fully alive.
✨ Nature never hurries, and yet everything is accomplished.
And your soul knows this.
You don’t actually want to always rush to do the next thing,
or override what you truly want to do,
just because there’s things you think you should get done instead.
Your body wants to rest when it’s tired.
To fully rejuvenate and have ample energy for the next task.
Your spirit wants to delight and play and explore.
To find joy, even in your work.
Your heart longs to move through life with intention.
To be present for what’s here.
Imagine what it would be like to soften your pace,
trust that life will unfold in perfect timing,
and that it will all get done,
while you move with a rhythm
that feels natural to you.
What if you loved yourself enough to slow down?
Breathe yourself into the present moment.
Connect with the quiet sense of being alive.
If you tune in to your heart and ask it to guide you,
it will show you how life is meant to be lived.

🌸 Soften Your Pace
I invite you to take a deep breath in… and let it out slowly.
Place a hand on your heart, and maybe the other on your belly.
Gently ask yourself:
“What pace would I like to move through my day with?”
Trust yourself to follow that intuitive rhythm.
