Coming Back into Rhythm

I was thinking about how we are of the Earth.

Just as much a part of nature as the trees and the hummingbirds.

 

We are physically, biologically, and spiritually connected to our planet.

We come from the same elements as the soil and the water…

and one day, our bodies will return to them.

 

Being human means being part of it all ~

the atmosphere, the oceans, the mountains, and the cosmos.

 

Our biological rhythm was designed

to automatically align itself

with the frequency of the natural world.

 

This is why it feels so good to spend time outside…

To feel the sun on your skin,

fill your lungs with fresh air,

put your feet in the grass,

and hear the sounds of the natural world around you.

 

Your body longs to be in rhythm with the Earth.

 

We are meant to rise with the light of the sun.

We are meant to rest in the dark with the moon.

 

To breathe deeply.

To move our bodies with intention.

To nourish ourselves in alignment with the seasons.

 

And as you practice Self-Love,

you become more in tune with what your body is craving.

 

You’ll notice that it doesn’t want to conform to societal expectations.

And your energy doesn’t want to be confined to a rigid schedule.


Your body wants to come back into flow with its natural rhythm.

 

But too often, we override our instinctive knowing,

in favor of rushing, forcing, and disconnecting.

 

So this is your reminder to tune in and let your body guide you back…

 

Ask yourself:

In what ways can you stop fighting your true nature

and listen to the quiet pull within you?

  

Maybe it’s sitting outside in the morning for a few minutes

and letting the light touch your face.


Or maybe it’s going for a walk without your phone

and being present with the sky, the trees, and the sound of the birds.


Or maybe it’s dimming all the lights when the sun goes down

and turning off the electronics in favor of a more natural wind-down.

 

Even small moments can bring you back into alignment.

 

When you love and connect deeply with yourself,

you remember that your true nature is at One with the world around you.

🌿 A Gentle Grounding

I invite you to take a moment and step outside, if you can.

Of if you can’t, simply close your eyes and imagine the following lines.

Feel your feet on the ground beneath you.

Take a slow, deep breath in… and release it out even more slowly.

Feel the connection between your body and the Earth.

Remember that you are a part of it, and it is a part of you.
