Embracing Peace as Your Inner Orientation

In the spirit of downshifting for the season,
(which I wrote about in my last post)
I’m consciously embracing peace as a way of being.
I don’t mean peace in the sense of being passive ~
but peace as an inner orientation.
This requires being at peace with what is,
and gently releasing any resistance to what isn’t.
As we actively practice Self-Love
and connect more deeply to ourselves,
that connection becomes a stabilizing force within.
A steady, safe, peaceful center that is always available.
Your center is the part of you that innately knows, truly knows,
that you are always supported.
Without fail.
Even in the moments when we choose to perceive otherwise.
Your mind is a survival tool that endlessly scans for threats to manage,
problems to solve, and information to consume.
So it understands peace as a concept, but has a hard time resting there.
But beyond the mind, you are a soul.
And your soul knows the embodiment of peace…
The quiet trust that everything is unfolding in perfect timing.
✨ We always have access to peace ~ because the Source resides within.
At the soul level, each experience is a gift
because it’s what we’re here for —
to learn, grow, and expand through our individual experience.
And our experience is all about the perspective we choose.
You can choose to relax into trust and faith,
or get stuck in the grip of anxiety and expectations.
Can you honor where you are on your journey?
Be at peace with what’s present in your life right now.
And be at peace with what isn’t.
What is here is meant for you.
Let yourself soften into being with it.
And what isn’t here, simply isn’t meant to be.
At least not yet…
There is a deep, quiet peace available to you ~
it’s always waiting in the steady center of connection with yourself.
Orient yourself in that space of peace within.
Engage with life by aligning with your inner knowing that all is well.

Place one hand over your heart and one over your belly.
Let a slow, deep inhale soften you…
Let the long exhale center you…
Whisper inward:
"I choose to be at peace with what is here.
I choose to be at peace with what isn't meant to be."
