The Quiet Magic of Allowing

As we settle into this space together,  

I invite you to take a moment to reflect on these two questions:


Do you Allow your life —

your process, your unfolding experience

— to simply be what it is?

Do you trust that the journey you’re on is meant for you?


For me, this is a yes ~ most of the time, but it takes consistent practice...

 

This practice of Allowing has been one of my steady anchors for several years.

 

I’ve found that there’s a kind of magical sense of peace that arises

when you Allow yourself (and your life) to be exactly

where you are, as you are, how you are.

 

If we let our inner experiences and feelings be what they are,

and let life itself unfold, without forcing it to match our expectations,

there’s a softening that occurs…

We naturally relax. We exhale.

 

When we’re Allowing, we’re trusting that what is present, belongs.

 

And as we start to trust that what's here belongs here,

we develop an inner knowing that life is always happening FOR us ~

even if we can’t see how yet.

 

Allowing is the practice of creating a loving space where your imperfect human self

is empowered to exist, to heal, to feel, and to grow —

without judgment or force.

 

It doesn’t mean that you stop participating in life,

or moving towards your goals,

or that you stay in (or condone) toxic situations.

 

It simply means that you Allow your emotions, mistakes, and life situations to exist,

without pushing them away, gripping onto control, or trying to 'fix' yourself.

 

Because when you take care of yourself, show up for yourself,

and love yourself more fully,

you’ll find yourself grounded in a sense of peace with What Is.

 

When we’re Allowing, we’re leaning into presence and curiosity.

We’re opening a space where healthy changes will emerge naturally,

in their own aligned timing.

 

Your feelings, your struggles, and your humanity

are all divine experiences of belonging and Wholeness.

 

Self-Love is the journey of Allowing yourself

to experience every part of life… and every part of yourself.

With an intentional breath in, and a hand on your heart, remind yourself,

I Am Allowed to be a work in progress, and I will never have to be perfect.”

Let the truth of that settle peacefully in your body.
